Martin is a graduate of UCD and holds a certificate in safety health and welfare at work, IOSH and CIF certificate in Managing safety in construction, CIF Management & Inspection of Scaffold. NISO Manual handling instructor & assessor, Certificate in portable appliance testing, and Military police criminal investigations course. He is a member of the following organisations The Chartered Institute of Occupational Safety & Health (IOSH), The National Irish Safety Organisation (NISO) and The European Safety & Health Professional Organisation (ENSHPO).
